This research aims to study the significance of training initiatives in enhancing patient care services in private hospitals in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan. The study examines how training improves the efficiency of healthcare employees, the success of organizations, and the general quality of patient care services. Quantitative data from a survey of 114 healthcare employees, from six private hospitals was conducted using a mixed-methods methodology, together with qualitative information from in-depth interviews with nine professionals. The results showed the important role that personal experiences and training play in enhancing employees' abilities, knowledge, and attitudes which have a direct impact on better patient care service delivery. Additionally, the study finds that there are structural challenges that prevent individuals from participating in training programs and emphasizes the relationship between training and organizational success. Recommendations are provided to guide hospitals and organizations in providing and implementing effective training programs and encouraging healthcare employees’ improvement. In order to promote strategic decision-making in the healthcare sector, this study provides useful information about the relationship between patient care enhancement, healthcare professionals' performance, and training programs for them.
